I would imagine that custom decals would beexpensive and I'd need two large ones--one of the roof, one for thehood. Painting'll be harder, but ultimately cheaper because I'll bedoing all the work. They're used to simulate custom, hand-paintjobs on cars. Most often, you'll see them on cars that havefactory-applied pinstriping. It's much easier (and cheaper) to stick onmass-produced decals and then clearkote over 'em than it is to paint thestripes and then clearkote that. :) But you can still tell they'redecals if you look closely. Me being something of a perfectionist, I'drather paint, but I'm just not certain of my artistic ability. I've donesmall or less-detailed things on cars by hand in my time (Like Klingonsymbols on my husband's truck), but a Tracks replica would berather...ambitious...for me. :) But that might be a good thing...
